To support students facing GCSE, AS or A2 exams, Fraser Hart runs courses at the key times in the school year designed to allow students practice at tackling exam questions, as well as reinforcing understanding of the concepts.

Our revision course tutors are the key to the success of our students. Therefore we are totally committed to recruit only the best and most enthusiastic tutors.

Our students are motivated with a passion for learning, which is reflected in the above average results achieved.

Fraser Hart are always interested in hearing from teachers in the following areas – A-level Biology, A-level Chemistry, A-level Physics, A-level Mathematics.

Your job will be to guide students through the courses. Also to set, mark, answer students’ questions and offer support and guidance. You will be expected to build on our teaching resources written by our established team of tutors.

We are committed to offering tutors a stimulating working environment with students who are keen to learn. Training in the Fraser Hart revision teaching strategies will also be provided.

Ideal candidates will be enthusiastic about their subject, charismatic when interacting with students and have the ability to articulate the subject matter and methodology in a clear manner.

In summary our tutors must be able to support our students to achieve their full potential by being:

  • experts in their subject
  • clear communicators
  • friendly and responsive to students
  • fully familiar with the different examination requirements for the three main UK awarding bodies: AQA , EDEXCEL and OCR

What happens after you submit your application form

We will acknowledge receipt of your application form by sending you an email, and if successful, ask you to attend an interview with our Chief Course Director.

At interview we will explain how Fraser Hart work and discuss how you may contribute to our revision courses and seminar one to one tuition.

After interview we write or e-mail your referees for a reference (including current teaching references)

Upon receipt of a satisfactory reference, we may send you an offer.

Confirmation of an offer is subject to satisfactory references and you holding a valid CRB certificate.
